Who is behind Estably?
Estably is a digital savings and wealth management platform founded in 2019 and based in Liechtenstein, specialising in investment and deposit products for private customers across Europe. Rather than operating as a traditional full-service bank, Estably focuses exclusively on financial solutions and partners with licensed banks in Liechtenstein and Europe to provide its products.
How safe is my money with Estably?
Funds placed via Estably on a flexible savings account or term deposit are held with the long-established LLB (Liechtensteinische Landesbank). With over 160 years of experience, LLB is considered the most conservative bank in Liechtenstein. The funds are protected under the Liechtenstein deposit guarantee scheme, which covers eligible deposits up to 100,000 Swiss Francs (100,000-110,000 euros depending on exchange rate) per depositor and bank. This is in line with European standards.
Liechtenstein benefits from a very strong sovereign credit profile and a stable financial system closely aligned with Switzerland. The country has a sovereign credit rating of AAA.
How can I manage the Tagesgeld account?
The "Tagesgeld" accessed via Estably is managed through the platform’s web-based client portal, where customers can view balances, manage investments, check their postbox, and manage transfers.
Estably's focus is on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Customer support and the interface are therefore available in German. Customer support can be reached via WhatsApp, telephone, and email.
How can I open the Estably Tagesgeld?
The "Tagesgeld" via Estably can be opened entirely online through the Estably platform. You can hold a call money or fixed-term deposit account independently of the other Estably strategies.
In principle, any natural or legal person aged 18 or older can open a call money or fixed-term deposit account, provided they are not subject to US tax liability. Persons residing outside Germany will also need a registration certificate and a tax identification number.
Before using the account, customers complete a digital identity verification using VideoIdent or PostIdent. To do this, you need a valid photo ID or a passport. Afterward, it may take 3-7 days for your Estably flexible savings account to be ready to use.
