Who is 1822direkt?
Savings Bank (Sparkasse) is Germany’s largest banking group based on the number of customers. Sparkasse is organized in regional entities with different offers and conditions. Frankfurt Sparkasse is the only one with a direct banking entity (1822direkt) that operates nationwide. Hence, you can also open an account in another German city or town. The account is free for the first three months after opening; thereafter, you must have a minimum monthly incoming amount of 700 Euros to keep it free. Otherwise, a base fee of 4.50 Euros will be charged each consecutive month.
Which bank cards does the DKB Girokonto include?
The account comes with a Visa Debit Card suitable for store payments or online shopping. If you make hotel or rental car bookings, providers may ask you for a credit card. What is the N26 Standard?
N26 Standard is the free account among the four available current accounts. It comes without any monthly fees, and there are no conditions in terms of required transactions or income. There is a version for private individuals and a business option.
Which bank cards does N26 Standard include?
The account comes with a Virtual MasterCard Debit for store payments or online shopping. A physical card can be issued against a one-time fee of 10 Euros. Alternatively, it is included in their premium accounts.
